Но в отличии от многих охотников за золотом, Ломенов интересовали другие возможности для обогащения. Они открыли мебельный магазин, попутно осваивали животноводческий бизнес (оленеводство), занимались перевозками, торговали одеждой и участвовали во многих общественно-значимых проектах."}], "attributes": []}, {"text": [{"type": "string", "attributes": {}, "string": "В 1908 году братья - Альфред, Гарри, Карл и Ральф Ломены открыли ещё и фотоателье. Фотоискусство быстро увлекло их, несмотря на сложности - ведь держать фотокамеру в рабочем состоянии при низких температурах совсем не просто. Снимали братья Ломены в основном местных жителей: эскимосов и алеутов. После пожара Ломены фотографией больше не занимались. Сохранилось около 3-х тысяч их работ, представляющих огромную ценность для истории.
