Показ начался с обзора огромного глобуса, который вращался вокруг своей оси, то и дело подмигивая огнями по типу гирлянды, в разных городах и континентах, что символизировало известность бренда Chanel во всем мире. После того как в зале погас свет, глобус разделился на две равные части, которые разъехались по разные стороны, открыв двери подиума и все увидели непревзойдённую Claudia Schiffer. Она была музой Karl Lagerfeld того времени, а он в это время являлся креативным директором модного дома Chanel. Именно Lagerfeld убедил девятнадцатилетнюю Schiffer дебютировать на подиуме для Chanel, сделав ее первой непроверенной моделью, которую Chanel когда-либо нанимала. Светловолосая, жизнерадостная и похожая на молодую Брижит Бардо, Schiffer сразу же добилась успеха. Во время показа первый образ Клавдии состоял из твидового блейзера, укорочённой белой футболки, светлых брюк с ремнем и трости. На подиуме также можно было наблюдать, детали в виде цепочек, много твида, обувь на плоском ходу с закрытым носом и культовый логотип Chanel с переплетением букв демонстрирующийся множеством разных способов. Эта пастельная почти сахарная логомания Chanel выглядит абсолютно свежо и нетривиально. Эти образы из коллекции Chanel, которые представлены в шикарной цветовой гамме, эта легкость подачи коллекции, роскошные ткани и звёздный модельный состав делают показ настолько прекрасным, что к его просмотру можно возвращаться вновь и вновь. К этому совершенству летних впечатлений можно добавить такие шикарные и повседневные, но такие гламурные и пышные силуэты. Глядя на представленные вещи на этом показе, непременно хочется, чтобы Chanel запустила свою retro линию, возвратив ещё раз на подиум культовые вещи прошлых показов, возможно придав им слегка
