Дизайнер вдохновился австрийской императрицей Элизабет «Сисси». Она была одной из самых известных модниц середины 19 века. И её образ как раз удачно совпал с ДНК - бренда. Дизайнер также использовал красивую китайскую ткань сиреневого и вечнозеленого дамаста для нескольких платьев, от традиционного драпированного платья с колоннами до более спортивного платья - анорака с капюшоном. Поскольку роскошь не должна идти в ущерб легкости и современности, то женщина Carolina Herrera в этом сезоне превращается в современную императрицу, прославляя обособленное понимание красоты и гламура, как императрица Сисси за столетия до неё. В коллекции были представлены модели в полоску, с цветочным рисунком и другими украшениями, такими как кружево. Многие образы отличались пышными, объемными юбками, накидками и структурированными корсетами.
