С самого детства Александр любил рисовать, во многом благодаря отцу, который был инженером и карикатуристом. Естественно, что в доме художника было немало комиксов и карикатур, которые очень сильно любил Александр и пытался их перерисовывать. Окончив школу, Рохин получил два высших образования: психологическое и педагогическое.
